|I think all software developers should dedicate at least a few hours of their time to exploring new ideas and solutions. Especially at their day job. It lets you take a step back and objectively weigh the pros/cons of your existing design.

|Starting fresh in a new notebook is exciting, especially after your last notebook lasted over two years. Thinking about what I will be writing on the last pages, and what lessons I learned in the 200 pages in between...
|Most of them are intentionally editable by anyone on the system... But there is a surprising amount of files that probably weren't supposed to be editable
|Compiling statistics on file permissions on tilde.club. By my count there are 177 files in /home/ that are editable by others
|Tildes are like urbit without the intentionally confusing design
|And telehack even gave me some real life useful training, I learned what wardialing is and AT commands for serial modems
|I had a similar idea for tilde.club back in 2011-2012. At the time I was really invested in an online MUD called telehack and I thought the idea of sharing a computer online with people seemed like a really cool idea

|This blogging system that youre reading uses sqlite, lua, and outputs html and css. I also limited it to 255 characters for fun
|I like using powershell over bash, it makes a lot more sense how everything is and object instead of text
